Food aid and Britain
Keywords:
Aid, Development finance, Fragile states, FoodSynopsis
The decision to undertake this study arose from two considerations. Firstly, those concerning the confusion surrounding the topic. Secondly, for the first time, questions of food aid policyare of serious practical importance to Britain as a result of the Food Aid Convention.
The analysis is conducted with an eye on the possible influence which Britain might have on ensuring that the maximum contribution is made to the development
of poorer countries.
